Paris – Provence

Atelier de la Boiserie was founded in 1963, bringing together craftsmen from Paris and the Provence region. This merger enabled each individual to offer their own unique set of skills and expertise, together forming a successful company with extensive knowledge and talent.

As specialists in designing, making, fitting and restoring decorative woodwork, and with vast experience of producing highly complex designs, Atelier de la Boiserie applies its expansive knowledge to prestigious projects across France as well as overseas in cities such as Moscow, London, New York and San Francisco, working alongside some of the world’s most renowned architects and decorators.

Within our workshops, over 60 people combine their skills and we are now based across two sites. The first is located in Paris’ 11th arrondissement, the historic heart of the Parisian woodwork, and is home to a workshop, our main design office as well as most of our installation teams.  The second is tucked away between the Vaucluse Mountains and the Luberon massif, deep in the Apt valley in the commune of Gargas and is our main production unit.

It is also home to an impressive workshop and a team of 7 specialist cabinetmakers who work on incredibly complex designs in authentic French tradition.

From 18th century style monumental carved screens to bird’s eye maple veneered woodwork to winding staircases to inlay wooden furniture.
